105 People Killed In Traffic Accidents In Three Months

The rate of deadly accidents rose alarmingly over the past three months in Kuwait, according to Al Qabas.

Traffic accidents claimed the lives of 105 people since the beginning of the year, including Kuwaiti nationals and and expatriates..

The figures released by the department of IT and statistics at the General Directorate of Traffic covered the months of January, February and March.

The heavy death toll triggered calls to clampdown on reckless driving to safeguard road safety.

According to statistics, 45 citizens and foreigners were killed in January, 25 in February and 35 in March – a rate of 1-and-a-half victim daily.
