100s Of Visit Visa Requests Rejected

 A security source told the Al-Shahed daily that the State Security has turned down 750 requests for visit visas since the beginning of this year, reports Al-Shahed daily. The security sources said the Interior Ministry has taken strict measures to prevent entry visas to anyone who has security restrictions. According to sources, the ministry has data on all suspects all over the world who are threat to security.

Meanwhile, the decision issued by the General Department for Residence Affairs is to streamline the residence permits of wives and children of the head of the family, reports Al-Rai daily.

According to the decision if the residence permit of the wife and a child expires before the expiry of the residence permit of the head of the family, the dependent will be given residence permit of one year, unlike in earlier days when the residence permit was given for five years. The daily added, according to the decision the validity of the residence permit will be linked with the validity of the passport.
