Two Asian Expats Arrested For Manufacturing Liquor

Two Asian expatriates were arrested for manufacturing liquor inside an apartment in Hawally area. According to security sources, Hawally securitymen were patrolling Hawally area when they stopped a man who was walking in the area and asked him for his identification document.

However, he started to run, forcing securitymen to chase him. They noticed him enter a flat and they requested back up support, after which they went inside the flat. They immediately discovered that the flat was being used for manufacturing liquor.

They arrested two Asian expatriates including the one they were chasing and confiscated barrels which were filled with liquor. When interrogated, the suspects confessed to manufacturing liquor and selling to their clients. They were referred with the liquor to the concerned authorities for necessary legal action. The suspects were arrested and referred with the confiscated items to the concerned authorities for further investigations.
