Misdemeanor Court Acquitted A Citizen Who Was Accused In Stolen Car Incident
The Misdemeanor Court acquitted a citizen of giving false testimony under oath that his sister stole a car in front of their house. Court files indicate the accused gave false testimony when his brother- in-law filed a complaint at a police station saying his sister stole the car. Attorney Abdul-Muhsin Al-Qattan, lawyer for the accused, raised doubt on the narration of the incident. He pointed out the records of the detective officer who handled the case affirmed that the accused denied the incident, indicating the entire issue was due to a family dispute.
