Kuwaiti Citizen Caught With Larika Drug

A Kuwaiti citizen was arrested for consumption and possession of “Larika” drug. According to security sources, securitymen were on routine patrol duty when they noticed a motorist driving recklessly and ordered him to pull over. When they asked him for his identification documents, they noticed his disoriented state. They checked his vehicle and found “Larika” drug. When they questioned him about the drug, he claimed that he uses them for back pain. He was arrested and referred with the confiscated drug to the concerned authority for necessary legal action.

Duo selling drugs: An unidentified Kuwaiti and an Egyptian have been referred to the Directorate General for Combating Drugs amid accusations of trafficking in drugs after a quantity of sachets of heroin and shabu was seized from the men, reports Al-Anba daily. According to a security source, the suspects driving in a car were ordered to pull over for reckless driving and while issuing a citation for the man behind the wheel, police discovered both men were in abnormal condition. When police searched both men, they found money and plastic bags with the traces of heroin and shabu.

Tramadol with passenger: Customs officers at the Kuwait International Airport have arrested an unidentified Arab man for attempting to smuggle into the country Tramadol pills and a piece of hashish, reports Al-Anba daily. The daily added, the man was thoroughly searched after he arrived from his home country because he appeared confused when he approached the customs counter. The contraband was found hidden in his underwear. During interrogation he admitted to the charge and said the drugs were for his personal use. The contraband and the suspect have been referred to the General Department for Drugs Control.
