Convicted Bedoun Men, Kuwaiti And Yemeni In The Case Of Terrorist Funding For Daesh

The Criminal Court convicted two Bedoun men and acquitted a Kuwaiti man and Yemeni man in the case of terrorist funding for DAESH.

The court sentenced the first defendant to five years in prison with payment of KD 1,000 to suspend execution of the verdict, and the second defendant to five-year jail term with hard labor and KD 9,000 fine. The remaining two defendants (third and fourth) were acquitted.

According to the case file, the first and second suspects were accused of collecting from the third suspect KD 9,000, medicines and other materials for the outlawed group, and the fourth suspect was accused of using his car to transport the collected items to Yemen
