Job Description:

Deputy Structural Design Manager – Kuwait

Our client is a leading architecture, engineering, and design firm who has a presence working on iconic projects in all major Middle Eastern hubs.  They are in need of a Deputy Manager- Structural Design who can immediately mobilize to start working on major projects in Kuwait.

Role and Responsibilities:

• Delivery of all aspects of design at concept, preliminary and detailed design stages of structural projects.
• Ensure laid out policies, processes and guidelines are followed as per norms.
• Ability to produce, review and approve designs and reports, departure applications and other client deliverables
• Review and approve design of structure designs.
• Review and approve project design drawings from concept to the tender stage
• Review and approve technical specifications for various components for tender and contract documents
•  Preparation of project design reports, programs, resource schedules
• Conduct technical discussions, share knowledge and promote team work culture

 QUALIFCATIONS

• Bachelor Degree in Civil Engineering or Bachelor of Technology
• 15 years experience in design and management
• Previous experience in high rise building project.
• Western or Egyptian nationality preferred
• Knowledge of ETABS/ STAADPRO / SAFE
• Structural competencies and skills in efficient utilization of structural analysis/ design software
• Knowledge of MS-Excel for quick post-processing of computer analysis/design output
