Al Tayer Group is delighted to announce plans to open the first Bloomingdales store in Kuwait which is part of a strategic partnership with Macys, Inc.
Bloomingdales Kuwait will fulfill the New York City stores promise of "like no other store in the world" with offerings such as leading luxury brand experiences, and seamless digital and social media integration.  This will enhance the in-store experience, deliver extraordinary personalised services with curated product selection to create an authentic welcome and delight experience for our customers.
Opening in February, the three-level apparal, beauty and accessories store, spanning over, square feet will anchor the Mall, Kuwaits luxury retail destination.

Job Specification
We are looking for a passionate and committed Deputy Floor Manager to provide leadership to the Bloomingdales Kuwait team in order to achieve the company goals and objectives. We require a focused, highly motivated individual that has excellent managerial skills in coaching and developing large teams.
As a member of the Management team, you will be responsible for leading and inspiring our employees to achieve the stores KPIs whilst maintaining brand image, operational compliance and customer satisfaction. You will confidently lead and inspire the team to achieve tangible results.
Providing and analysing reports in order to gain understanding of current performance trends, identifying commercial opportunities and ensure the Buying/Planning teams are aware of stock related feedback are critical parts to this position.
Reporting to the Floor Manager, you will cultivate a culture of outstanding customer service by leading by example and resolving customer complaints effectively and promptly.
We are looking for someone that has a proven background in managing a large department within a multi-brand environment.  You should be able to show thorough product knowledge and have a sound understanding of latest trends.
You will have a successful record in driving sales and commercial opportunities, and should have evidence of how you have met and exceeded targets.
Customer service is a very important part of this role and therefore you will have to demonstrate how you have cultivated a culture of excellent customer service.
You should have experience in managing stock loss through implementation and adherence to policies and procedures and be able to analyse stock management.
Previous experience in ensuring Visual Merchandising standards are maintained within the brand expectations is also expected.
