Sacoor Brothers was founded in 1989 at number 127, Rua Pascoal de Melo, Lisbon. Sacoor began by selling very affordable articles, for men and women, on its single selling point. In 1990, Sacoor Brothers opened its second store at Rua Pedro Nunes, also in Lisbon and its first store in a shopping center in 1997. Colombo was the chosen shopping center and led the way to a string of success that enabled the brand to achieve a sales volume never seen before. At one time, stock that was to last six months was sold out in just two weeks! The brand garnered more visibility due to its presence across the city, making it known among the general public. The success continued the following years ahead, with new stores opening across the country.
