The Kuwait China Investment Company is the first Asia focused investment company in the Arab world. KCIC was incorporated in 2005 as a Kuwaiti Shareholding Company and is publically owned and has been listed on the Kuwait Stock Exchange since 2009. In 2012 KCIC established Asiya Investments Limited in both Hong Kong and Dubai. KCIC hereby announces the opening of nominations for membership to its Board of Directors, for the period from today’s date, Wednesday 18th March for two weeks ending at the close of business on Wednesday 1st of April 2015. Nomination criterias are in accordance with the instructions of the Kuwait Capital Markets Authority No. (CMA/Q.R./H.S/1/2013) based on qualifications and integrity, as well as governance pertaining to the board membership nomination mechanism issued by Kuwait Capital Markets Authority under its decision No. (25) of 2013. Persons interested in the nomination, and find themselves appropriately qualified to meet the above mentioned criteria, are kindly requested to visit KCIC Head Office during the official working hours (8:30 am to 3 pm from Sunday to Thursday), located on the 31st Floor at Kipco Tower, Khalid bin Waleed street, Sharq, Kuwait – Tel: 22971300, so that they can obtain the required form. Upon receipt of the required documents, KCIC will submit the applications to CMA for approval.
