Central Blood Bank of Kuwait was founded on the 5th of May in the year 1965 and was by then the first blood bank in the Arab world. The main goal of the blood bank is to save sacs of blood in the right and safe conditions in order to use later on during emergencies and people who benefits from the blood are people who are injured in accidents, Cancer patients and Thalassemia patients. The Central Blood Bank of Kuwait welcome blood donors everyday and donating blood has many health benefits whereby it helps cure headaches, lessens risk of stroke and allows the blood cells to renew themselves.
